The full line-up has been revealed for the highly anticipated amateur four-man tournament at Evecon RAJU 18, set to take place on September 20 at Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn. Athletes from Estonia, Finland, and Lithuania will compete for a €1000 prize, putting their skills to the test on one of the region’s biggest MMA stages.
All four fighters who will face off in this year’s RAJU 18 amateur four-man tournament — with a €1000 prize — have been announced. Representing Estonia are Randel Uibo and Alexander Ganin, who will go up against Juuso Renfors from Finland and Emilis Panceris from Lithuania.
The semifinal match-ups will be determined by a draw held shortly before the event.
International Roster Brings Diverse Styles and Strategies into the RAJU Cage
Juuso Renfors is a versatile fighter from Finland who can defeat opponents both standing and on the ground. He is a prime example of a modern fighter, ready to battle at any range the fight takes him to. While Renfors has trained grappling as a separate discipline, his stand-up advantage lies in his excellent sense of distance and his effective use of reach.
Emilis Panceris, the Lithuanian representative, primarily seeks opportunities to take his opponent down and finish the fight via submission — his tactical aim is control and technical dominance in grappling. While Estonian fighters must prepare to avoid wrestling exchanges and aim to dominate on their feet, Renfors may be capable of challenging the Lithuanian even on the ground.
Estonian Fighters Uibo and Ganin: Strong Results and Character
Randel Uibo, 26, hails from the small town of Sindi and represents the Invicta sports club. He is a 19-time Estonian champion in wrestling and was crowned Estonian MMA champion in both 2023 and 2025. His fight record includes ten amateur bouts, six of which he has won. Uibo is known for his relentless pressure and determination. Outside the cage, he works as a firefighter — serving his community both inside and outside the arena.
Alexander Ganin, 38, represents Tokon Tallinn and is originally from Narva. He holds 10 MMA wins (8 by submission) and 7 losses. Ganin is a two-time Estonian champion and was the Baltic champion in 2021. His strengths lie in his technical versatility and calm, analytical fighting style. Outside of sports, Ganin works as a pastry chef.
“The prize tournament sponsored by Evecon offers amateurs a chance to shine on a big stage and take an important step closer to their goals in competitive sports,” said Ott Tõnissaar, CEO of Evecon Raju.
The next event – Evecon RAJU 18 – will take place on 20 September at Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn.
