Raigo Kutsar vs. Mateusz Rybak – Power vs. Precision at Evecon RAJU 17!

Evecon RAJU

A Battle of Power and Experience

On February 22 in Tartu, one of the most anticipated fights at Estonia’s biggest MMA event, Evecon RAJU 17, will pit Estonian fighter Raigo Kutsar (professional record 2-0) against Poland’s Mateusz Rybak (7-3) in the 83.9 kg weight class.

Raigo “Bear” Kutsar’s Unstoppable Streak

Thirty-four-year-old Raigo Kutsar has had a powerful start to his professional career, securing two consecutive knockout victories. The 181 cm tall Estonian giant, nicknamed “Bear,” last appeared at RAJU 15, where he stopped his opponent in just 17 seconds. Kutsar, who also claimed a bronze medal at the IMMAF World Cup, is confident and believes his winning streak will continue in Tartu.

Mateusz Rybak Brings World-Class Kickboxing

Twenty-eight-year-old Mateusz Rybak, an ISKA kickboxing world champion, is an experienced competitor. Out of his seven victories, five have come by knockout and one by submission. At RAJU 16, he delivered a spectacular match, finishing his opponent by knockout in the first round – the same opponent Kutsar had initially been scheduled to face. After that fight, Rybak wasted no time and issued a challenge to Kutsar – a challenge that now sees them face each other in the cage.

Ott Tõnissaar on This Explosive Matchup

“These kinds of matchups perfectly capture the essence of RAJU – two elite fighters looking to prove who is the better MMA fighter. Kutsar has been unstoppable, but Rybak represents a serious challenge for him. Fans need to stay alert because one brief moment could decide the outcome of this fight.”

Ott Tõnissaar, CEO & Head Organizer of Evecon RAJU

Who Will Prevail in Tartu?

Will Raigo “Bear” Kutsar’s strength and power allow him to extend his winning streak, or will Mateusz Rybak’s experience and precision silence the Tartu crowd?

The answer will be revealed on February 22 at A. Le Coq Sports Hall.

The organizers have also confirmed the next event, set to take place on September 20 at Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn. The first event in RAJU league history took place in February 2009 at the University of Tartu Sports Hall.
